How did you get started teaching?
I always had a passion for guiding people and helping people.
Dancing has always played a major role in my life, I know many students have a desire to learn, for whatever reasons it may be, to workout or simply because they have the passion for dancing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many groups of people and professionals and cultural backgrounds and religion.
Healthcare professionals, Law Enforcement, Govenrment officials, Engineers etc.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My best advice is do your research first, at times we want to spend very little for services and the saying "You get what you pay for" is definitely very accurate in the world of dance.
Dont be afraid to invest in someone whom is qualified enough to be your dance teacher. You want to learn dance foundation the right way, if not you will find yourself frustrated not being able to progress without that solid foundation.
Foundation is the key to any student and dancer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your goal?
Whats your purpose for the dance?
Why do I want to dance?
For some dancers like myself, music and dance is my way of life and it's very personal and yes so much fun. I hope to share my passion for dance and knowledge with you
