Luis is an amazing instructor and coach. I've had the pleasure of learning from him for about 4 years now. What separates him from others in my opinion is his creativity and musicality, passion for teaching and ability to break down the technique. Whether you're just starting out or are a more seasoned dancer, you'll greatly benefit from his classes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I want my students to have the best overall experience

-First we find out what your goal is

-We introduce you to the history of the music and the dance

-Teach you the basic foundation in detail, with precise and accurate information.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

18 Years of Dance Experience

-Have traveled the world teaching dance and our dance system

Dance schools: Broadway Dance Center, DanceSport NYC, DSG Dance Studio

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

If I travel to you lessons are $120. 55 Minute Lesson

if you travel to me $100 studio fee is included

How did you get started teaching?

I always had a passion for guiding people and helping people.

Dancing has always played a major role in my life, I know many students have a desire to learn, for whatever reasons it may be, to workout or simply because they have the passion for dancing.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with many groups of people and professionals and cultural backgrounds and religion.

Healthcare professionals, Law Enforcement, Govenrment officials, Engineers etc.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My best advice is do your research first, at times we want to spend very little for services and the saying "You get what you pay for" is definitely very accurate in the world of dance.

Dont be afraid to invest in someone whom is qualified enough to be your dance teacher.  You want to learn dance foundation the right way, if not you will find yourself frustrated not being able to progress without that solid foundation.

Foundation is the key to any student and dancer.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is your goal?

Whats your purpose for the dance?

Why do I want to dance?

For some dancers like myself, music and dance is my way of life and it's very personal and yes so much fun.  I hope to share my passion for dance and knowledge with you
