Leigh's League provides quality one-on-one or group tennis coaching and training starting from 8-18 years of age at an affordable price. I also have group lessons for up to 4 students at a time.
Leigh was wonderful.
Leigh is everything you want in a tennis coach for children- positive, patient, and FUN! Her technique is excellent so she really knows her stuff. Leigh's teaching style is one that will build your child's confidence as well as their skills. What more could you want in a coach? I highly recommend her!
Leigh is a great teacher and finallyn the first one of many that I've had to teach me how to finally serve. After 15 years of playing tennis she has helped me to get the proper form. She took the time and care with me. She even recorded my serve and checked it with me in slowmo to show me step-by-step what I needed to change and improve and what I did well. She is also very friendly and great at following up.
Your first lesson is only $25! See if you would like to continue and we can set up a schedule that works for both of us.
I use Square Cash App or accept cash.
I have played tennis for eleven years and first started learning privately at the age of 14. I played club tennis at Utah Valley University in 2011 and currently play competitively in the Tennis League of San Diego.
I have experience working with elementary age kids and high school kids in educational settings as I am a former ASL teacher.
1 Lesson-$35 for 1 hour private lesson.
8 week private lessons-$250 upfront. (Saves you $30.) This can be once a week for 8 consecutive weeks or twice a week for a month at the same price.
Ask about family discounts. Example: If you have 2 kids that would like a group lesson I will charge $45/lesson. (Saves you $25).
My first experience with coaching tennis was the summer after I graduated from high school in 2010. I taught privately and in small groups. I have continued to play over the years and recently took some time off to have a baby. Since I began my little family I have started playing again competitively with the Tennis League of San Diego.
I have coached beginners from the ages of 6-20. I prefer to work with students at least 8 years old. I've taught students with no experience up to a few years of experience playing tennis recreationally.
I recently started working in the San Marcos School district with special needs kids in second grade and I love it! I also am writing a novel.
Hire a coach with clear expectations for you and your child. I always tell my students, "Perfect practice makes perfect performance."
Do I need to provide anything when I come for my lessons? For example, do I bring my own racket and tennis balls?
