Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get a detailed understanding of the students expectations of learning the sport of tennis.
my first part of the process is to make learning the basics fun and easy to understand. also to make it enjoyable to keep interest growing in the student
for advance students: develope drive and passion in competing and preventing the student from becoming 'burnt out' ( uninterested in continuing )
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified by USTA for 10 And Under Tennis, Play safe, and TGA after school program for 10 And Under.
Certified Personal Trainer through NESTA
Certification Programs through NASM

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started teaching?
I am self taught on a backboard and after a year of playing I had the opportunity to be mentored by a very experienced tennis coach in which I took over his program a year later. I developed an after school High School program in Valley Center for a year.
What types of students have you worked with?
All and every type!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Directing a Tennis Tournament at Kit Carson Park, Escondido
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you have a desire or even a slight interest in learning tennis, then you will pick up on it a lot faster which makes it more fun to get out and take lessons. Also, to develope a training relationship with the coach makes it more fun and easier to learn!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
what motivates you? do you think you can learn tennis really well after just one lesson? are you willing to learn a life long sport and make life long friends? do you want to know the feeling of learning a sport thats hard to pick up on your own and how it changes the mindset of the person and creates self discipline?
