About
I have a lot of experience in the field of teaching a foreign language, more than 28 years. I taught EFL in Venezuela at the University of Los Andes. I received my Bachelor in Education with a Major in English (University of Los Andes) Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics (Simón Bolívar University), and Diploma in EFL Teaching (Saint Michael's College). I know how to help students to deal with their learning process.
I love to teach, and in this case, I have to say that I love to teach my mother tongue which is Spanish. I also love to meet people and help them to learn how to communicate in Spanish.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce myself and try to find out the level of the student; then by getting information about the student's needs, I use certain strategies,.materials, and start with the teaching/learning process.

I studied to be an English teacher. Then I took my Master's Degree, a Diploma program and also participated in many workshops in the field of teaching a foreign language.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Normally I charge $ 40 per hour because I drive to the student's house/office no more than 10 miles. More than 10 miles till 20 miles, I charge $60 per hour. However I can agree on special packages according to the lenght of the program. I also prefer to teach at least twice a week and for 2 hours each class to see better results.
