Tracey Campbell
About
As an acting instructor, I bring all of my teaching experience and all of my acting training into one beautiful package. I can work with all ages and all levels. I can help you prepare for an audition where you have been given sides, craft a monologue performance, or bump up your skill level as a public speaker. I teach techniques that you can own and develop into the future. I gained my expertise in the craft of acting from the Jean Shelton Actors Studio in San Francisco where I had the good fortune of studying with the great Jean Shelton herself. I have been teaching for twenty years, and teaching acting for five years. Helping another cultivate a firm foundation of the craft of acting and witnessing their extraordinary progress under my tutelage are far more gratifying for me than being on stage or in front of the camera myself. That's how I know I was born to teach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with becomming fully present in the body with a full body energizing warm-up. Then we engage the imagination. We connect the two with language and improvisation. Once we understand the connection between these three, we approach a script and begin the grand journey into understanding story and what the actor's role is in telling the story.
