About
I am a lifelong punk, hardcore, metal, hard rock, aggressive drummer and guitarist! I am here to show you how to get learning fast and play with energy, feel, fun and determination! That's what it's all about! I will work with you one on one to show you techniques and skills to help you become the musician you've always wanted to be.
I absolutely love showing people ways to learn music that are fun and exciting. Playing music has always been the number one thing that keeps me going, makes me the happiest, and let's me express all of my feelings and shake off the bad stuff! There's truly nothing like letting yourself go in your own music and creativity whether it's being behind a drum kit or playing guitar at the front of the stage! I love seeing young students with motivation and creative energy who are eager and excited to learn. I work hard to achieve genuine results quickly and keep you interested and practicing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am happy to meet on zoom or in person at my studio. I would first assess what the student is wanting to learn and where they are in their journey. I would go from there and build a plan to achieve results fast and effectively.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a drummer and guitarist for 27 years. I have spent countless hours on stage, on the road, and in garages, studios and practice rooms!

How did you get started teaching?
I am passionate about music and I am excited when others are passionate about music. I love seeing students get excited and learn. My parents and sister are both teachers and I have always been good with people. I am a people person, and charismatic and happy! I love working with people and new students to help them achieve their goals in a helpful and friendly environment. I started teaching young kids guitar many years ago in Kentucky. I would go to their house and work with them one on one.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly younger kids ages 6-14. All gender, all race, all nationality, etc. I do not discriminate and will love working with anyone that has the drive and passion to learn.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As a lifelong musician, the most important thing to me is feeling good about playing and enjoying what you are doing. You arent out to impress anyone or show off. You play because you are expressing your love and passion for the music you make. Building confidence and expressing yourself through your playing is key. You don't have to be technically amazing to do this. You just have to play with love and passion for your music. I can teach you this, and you will feel good about yourself doing it!
