Establish ability, personalize practice routine, create a wishlist of songs & artists, start jamming!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught performing & studio musician who has recorded & worked with amazing artists and educators my whole life in Los Angeles. I learned from some of the best players and studied theory & technique to begin teaching privately at the age of 21.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $35 for 30min and $50 for 60min. Discounts are given if the month is paid in full up front. Fees from missed classes will not be rolled over into following months but you may make up lessons when available.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was a teenager my neighbor heard me playing Jimi Hendrix with my band and he asked for lessons. He was a high school teacher and said I had good communication and skills and should consider private instruction!
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and types!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I said farewell to a 5 year student who is focusing on her senior year of high school. We created her full repertoire of songs and had an extra long farewell lesson. She was one of my top students ever.
