FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

PTR and GreatBaseTennis certified Tennis Professional.

Over 8 years of tennis teaching experience and love to share my passion for the sport with my players. I am versatile to teach players of all ages and skill levels with the drive to learn and enjoy the sport. I have successfully Coached Juniors to play regional and state competitions under the USTA Junior Team Tennis program for 4 years and helped teens to join high school Junior Varsity and Varsity teams.

My style of teaching is modern and simple to adapt. First, I explain the techniques and demonstrate how to properly apply them in the drill, rally, and match play.  Once the fundamentals are masters then I will move to strategies and mental toughness in match play. The progress in tennis is a combination of regular proper instruction, practice, and match play.

I am involved in USTA leagues as a Team Coach/Captain and will be able to get you involved if you are interested.

If you are looking for a hitting partner with specific patterns and strategies or just get a great workout then I will be happy to hit with you as well.

-I also provide a Racquet stringing service with/without your strings

+ Provide recommendations on which Racquet to buy based on your level and style of play.

How did you get started teaching?

I ask the student if they know what they want to work on and breakdown the specific techniques to help them get better at it, if they don't know what they want to work on I start with the basic fundamentals of tennis and build upon it little by little.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a variety of students ranging from 4 year olds to 74 year olds. It's such a fun job where everyone at any age is trying to get better and enjoy the sport for life.
