Filmmaking since 1974, SFX, producing, directing, writing, UPM, Talent manager, I have worked every position in front of or behind the camera and on stage at one time or another for 45+ years.
I am best known for my work as SFX and CoProducer on Phantasm IV: Oblivion and Phantasm V: Ravager. Currently filming "Women of Phantasm: The Documentary with BALLS!" and am CoProducing on SEASONS anthology.
Making a moving begins with a spark in the mind. It is then carried from the thought to the hand and laid on paper or medium. From there an entire village comes together with a singular vision - to bring this baby into the world. If you're lucky, it's YOUR baby with YOUR vision up on that large screen as you sit in the dark with popcorn, peanut M&Ms, and a soda with your best friend. And when you're time is done and you're gone... your child that you produced with all those folks who helped... lives on. Your vision lives on with your name and all their names on that screen. THAT is filmmaking. There's nothing like it in the world. Nothing comes close.

I like to interview a student by FB DM or phone first to determine their interests, sincerity, and seriousness or dedication for study or project for which they seek guidance or mentoring. I don't just teach students. I make careers. You can find my 45+ yrs credits on Imdb.com. My copyrighted Career Steps assists those clients on branding. I'm dedicated to my clients. And often use them on our projects.

Hourly is $25 per hour. Students travel to me in Crestline. If not I charge for travel. Discounts for groups. Small classes work best. Frequently do Weekend Bootcamps for groups going from script to screen.
When i was medically retired from US Army, I saw a need in the transition from military to civilian life. I started as a model/actress in 1974 being literally discovered in a diner in Texas.
During work as a booking agent at Models Guild of California, worked with dozens of newcomers like Tia and Tamara twins. Managed my twin daughters from young age. Formed, Wolf Pak, to book celebrities into conventions and other appearances. I teach also the nuts and bolts of career managing and business of filmmaking.
The most exciting and rewarding recent event related to this was appearing at Monsterpalooza in 2019 with my cast and crew of the "Women of Phantasm: the Documentary with BALLS!" It was incredible to watch the Phans eat up the time with them and rediscover their love of all things Horror.
Match your personality to that of the coach. If you are inconsistent and not dedicated to YOUR career and personal brand., How can you expect your coach to do the same? If, on the other hand, you are not afraid of hard work, on there for you all the way.
There's an adage: I am not who you think I am. I am not who I think I am. I am who I think You think, I am. You dont have to know where you're going in your career path but you should be willing to read the map.
