About
We are a boutique studio where all dancers get indiviualized attention. Though we have been in south county for over 28 years, our new state of the art facility located near the intersaection of the 5, 405, 133, Moulton and Irvine Center Drive offers three studios all with sprung floors. We have programs for ages 2 and up, have competitive and non competitive teams. Dance Works has performed in New York, Carnival Cruise lines, Honda Center and Staples Center to name a few places, in addition to perfroming locally and at senior centers. We offer 2 recitals a year, master classes from a variety of guest artists working in the dance industry and dance intensives in the summer and winter.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Your first class is free to try and we do not recommend purchasing any dance wear untill the dancer decides what class they want to take.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner my training includes:
* American Ballet Theater (ABT) instructor trained
* Baltimore Ballet School
*Awarded scholarship at the Peabody Conservatory of Dance
*The School of the Richmond Ballet with Maria Swoboda and Mansur Kamaletdinov
*New York University Tisch School of the Arts under the direction of Larry Rhodes, under scholarship
*The Joffrey School of Ballet
*BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Towson State University where I studied on scholarship
* President of the Sigma Rho Delta honor society for dance and was a member of the TSU dance company.
*Awarded the Peggy Dorsey Professional Promise Award in dance.
* Resident choreographer for the Baltimore Children's Dinner Theater and also performed in, and choreographed way too many musical and theatrical productions.
*Performed in Saul Lilienstein's Operetta Renaissance - The Merry Widow
* I also have choreographed for Saddleback College.
