What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start with the basic and figure out what direction the students would like to go in. Every student is an individual and that's the way I teach.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my kids and then others followed. I enjoy teaching. It brings me joy and fulfills me as an instructor to see my students progress and watch them grow.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types of students from 8 year olds to adults, both male and female.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was super proud the day I debuted my collection as a graduate student from FIDM. Everything after that has been a blessing.
Doing a portfolio show to food industry executives and demonstrating my culinary skills.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work with someone who you feel comfortable with and makes you feel relaxed. It should be enjoyable and not stressful.
