About
Marc Pinckney lives and works in San Diego, California. His primary professional focus is performing fitness and\or footwork training for elite tennis players and other competitive athletes. He also spends a fair amount of time in his dual role as a community college tennis coach and adjunct faculty member; in addition to some hours spent teaching lessons as a tennis pro.
Marc is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. Political Science 1975); The University of Minnesota (M.A. Counseling Psychology 1978) and California Western School of Law (J.D. Law 1983).
The provision of professional tennis instruction which is based on sound stroke production technique(s). The goal is for the player to develop a game with an organized and holistic; strategic, tactical and physical structure.
Every effort is made to help the player to create a game, which the player will be able to both produce and replicate on a consistent basis, under the conditions and stresses of match play.
Development of a tennis game based on a player learning to understand the process of structuring points and creating shot patterns, that will consistently be effective and which will result in clearly identified opportunities to close out points.
