I can’t say enough good things about working with my instructor. She is fun, motivating and an excellent teacher. She’s made brushing up on my Spanish a real joy. And the Spanish At Home program has been an excellent resource for preparing for my trip. Thank you

After only a few sessions I was able to engage in basic Spanish conversations and I had developed an adequate vocabulary for most everyday expressions. Having now completed the Spanish Book I, I believe that I have a good fundamental understanding of the language and I am comfortable conversing in basic Spanish. I always look forward to my Spanish classes and feel motivated to move onto the next lesson.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I would prefer conversational classes. It's very important to hear my students speaking in Spanish so I can correct them (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years. I also created my own material.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

The standar pricing is $25/hour

How did you get started teaching?

I'm a native Spanish speaker. I started tutoring Spanish when I was going to the university. When I finish school, I had 10-12 students, so I decided to keep teaching Spanish in the afternoons and weekends.

What types of students have you worked with?

I worked with kids, teenagers, and adults.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Classes need to be entertaining but at the same time the teacher needs to be a little demanding.
