I've been instructing actors for two years now. After learning from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts I spent time as a resident artist for three years at Elysium Conservatory Theatre. I am constantly working on my own craft and taking classes to improve my own understanding of the work.
The acting lessons provided cover many elements and tools it takes to be a working actor. Throughout our lessons you will develop;
- A better understanding of your own personal acting technique.

I enjoy teaching because of the powerful feeling I receive when I see an artist unlocked. There are few things that are more rewarding than seeing that "click" in a person that lets you know they have found a deeper layer of understanding.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depends on what kind of training the actor is hoping for. If this artist wants to really dig in, then we would begin each lesson with individual work on their artistic voice. Every lesson would involve some acting work, either of the Film, Stage or Audition technique variety.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been acting since I was eighteen. I have an AA from Santa Ana College and spent time with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After that I spent three years as a Resident Artist at Elysium Conservatory Theatre where I took classes and continued to grow my artistry. I have continued to work daily on my acting and continue taking classes even today.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Every half hour is 25 dollars. I would like these lessons to be affordable because I consider them valuable to any actors that can partake.
1/2 hour - $25
1 hour - $50
1.5 - $75
How did you get started teaching?
While I was a resident artist at ECT, I was approached by the artistic director and asked to teach a course for the conservatory. I agreed and taught for the next two years. My course was designed to help actors have a better understanding of their artistry.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages have ranged from 16-34 and I've worked with beginners and intermediate actors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
10,000 hours. It takes roughly 10,000 hours to master a skill. A teacher can help but ultimately you have to develop the discipline to put in your own work on the side.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Consider your own level of expertise. What actors or films are the type that you would like to emulate? Acting in Fast and Furious is different than performing in Roma.
