Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
My name is Karole Foreman. I am available for acting, speech lessons, singing coaching, audition prep for film, tv, theatre, and musical theatre. Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned professional, looking to sharpen your audition skills, hone your techniques, increase your confidence, or just looking for an audition buddy to go over your copy with you I am here to help.
I can work with you on technique for film, television, and commercial work. I can also work with you on theater, whether it's contemporary or Shakespeare, as well as musical theatre (I can help you prep and coach your song and character work).
I offer a free 30 minute consultation and evaluation. It's a chance for us to meet to see what I may be able to offer you and if I might be the right teacher/coach for you. ☺ Lessons will last from 1 to 1 1/2 hours. My prices are also negotiable, based on what your needs and interests may be.
A little info about myself: I have loved acting and performing since I was in Junior High School. I have over 40 years of professional acting, singing, and dance experience working in television, film, commercials, voice-over, and theater, performing in hundreds of musicals, plays, classical works, and Shakespeare.

This past few years have been very busy. I received my Masters in teaching acting and directing from CSU, Long Beach and taught acting there as well as at Chapman University, and Orange County High School of the Arts. I was an acting and speech teacher with The Broadway Theater Project, Las Vegas Kid's Talent, and coached young artists in two productions for CYT in San Diego.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have them prepare a monologue, scene, or a song or have them do a cold reading. This helps me to assess where they are in their work and identify how I may be able to help them.
I will also have them talk about what they want to accomplish with the classes and talk about their aspirations.
