About
I am a working actor and bilingual acting teacher based in East Los Ángeles. I focus on each individual student's needs and work with each one in a different way even if doing group excercises. I am a professional dancer so my teaching includes a lot of phisical work as well. I encourage my students to get to know and master their instrument to the best of their ability. I combine classic techniques from Stanislavsky to Meisner and apply them to practical scene study. I also do skype coaching one on one.
I have been acting since I was 8 years old. My father and mother are both actors. I enjoy storytelling because it plants the seeds of empathy in people. You get to share stories from different human perspectives and get to understand other humans through tehir stories. You hopefully develop compassion through understanding someone elses experience. I love teaching because the more people we have telling stories, the better the world will be.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students I first have them read a scene or monologue so I can sense where they are at in their development and epxression. After that I decide which way to go and what to focus on in order of importance to the student's goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied theater in Mexico City at The Center for Arts Education and continued my studies in Los Angeles at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, The Beverly Hills Playhouse and later with David Beaird at The theater under the stairs. I also studied at Dupree Dance Academy and EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge by the hour for private lessons. My rate is $60 / Hr
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the Mauricio Ochmann School of Acting in North Hollywood in 2015 and have continued my teaching independently since then.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advice doing research on a teacher's career before hiring them and making sure they are legitimately working as an actor or have worked as an Actor or Director in the industry. To me this makes all the difference between professional people and quacks just out to get your money.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what your goals are and make a plan as to how you wish to accpomplish it. Having a dream is not enough if yoyu really want to make this your profession.
