What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I analyze the level of each individual student through a warm up in order to gage their level of understanding. This helps me tailor the class to the student's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began training in Suhaila Salimpour method at the age of 12. I joined Troupe Sattya at the age of 14 when I began travelling and performing.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching modern and belly dance in high school at SPACE in Ukiah Ca.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, body types and skill levels!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently performed at The Palace in Upland.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you know where they received their training!
