About

I am a holistic teacher of acting, improvisation, directing, devised theatre, audition technique, stage combat, movement, yoga and voice and speech for the actor. Influences are Meisner, Stanislavsky, Spolin, Bogart, Grotowski, Overlie and the Frantic Assembly.

An actors instrument is their body, voice, imagination, emotions and intuition and the work I do with my students is to engage their full instrument.

Making weakenesses strengths. Imaginative play. Meeting other artists. Encouraging, impassioning and giving the skills to achieve goals and dreams.

I talk to the student about both hopes and fears for the class. I cater my class towards the students future goals. If the student is new to acting, improv or stage combat I give a strong foundation that they can add to their actors toolbox and use anywhere.
