I studied African Popular dance growing up in Ghana and during my 1st and 2nd degrees at the University of Ghana. As a dance teacher and researcher, I have been interested and Fascinated by the contemporary culture and the new birth of dances that come with it. Azonto, Shorkie, Gwaragwara, Etighi, Gweta, Sankoro, etc., are some of the Popular dance explored in this class. And in my teaching, I employ techniques that break down movement for easy practice and assimilation.

I have been dancing non consecutively for 27 years. I have studied and trained throughout my youth, in college, and post graduating. My training in ballet gave me the technique and vocabulary to easily pursue and study contempory, jazz, modern, and more. I have also been modeling for 12 years. Working independently and signed tp an agency. I have used my knowledge of body awareness and acting classes to create breathtaking images. I now teach and coach both areas and encourage everybody regardless of age, weight, gender to pursue both fields in order to promote health and happiness....

We are a multicultural neighborhood dance studio. We provide classes for all ages and abilities, combining excellent technical training with a policy of inclusiveness. We encourage everyone to join our school regardless of talent, weight, body type or age. The owner is a Juilliard graduate.
