JG Drums & Music Production Lessons

Ive toured the world extensively as drummer in bands and with artists such as Sugar Ray, Mark Mcgrath, Dorothy, Purple Melon and Andy Allo.

I've recorded as a drummer/multi-instrumentalist on a wide array of songs and albums spanning many genres for artists and producers including Dorothy, Purple Melon, Paul Stacey, Linda Perry, Celine Dion, Jessica Simpson, Pat Benatar, Garry Beers (INXS) and many more.

I have also worked as a producer, composer and co composer writing music for network tv shows including Surviving Jack (fox) and Undateable (NBC) I was also the live studio drummer for Undateable on season 3, playing live every Friday for the season on NBC in the house band.

Playing and teaching drums is my true passion. It allows me to share the transformative power of rhythm and technique that changed my life. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing my students progress from mastering basic rudiments to unlocking complex coordination and syncopation. Watching my students’ confidence grow as they gain control, learn beats from their favorite songs, develop their independence, and build a solid sense of time is incredibly fulfilling. The joy on their faces when they finally conquer a challenging groove or execute a polyrhythm is priceless, I love guiding them through that journey and helping to teach them the freedom to express themselves fully on the instrument.
