My vision of theatre training and training is about building confidence, taking risk, and having fun. When students are able to "play" creatively with confdience and volunerability, then the genuine and authentic art work is created.
I love encouraging students to learn and grow to become confident, coureagous and talented artists.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first assement begins with a conversation with the studnet to discuss both short term and long term goals. Once goals are established, we begin with cold reads and selecting 1-2 monologues to start working on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Worked in the Bay Area for more than 20 years as a theatre teaching artist from elementary schools to colleges. Artstic Director of an award winning youth theatre company.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35 per half hour lesson at our studio. Prices for in home classes begin at $45 per half hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Been working in the education system for over two decades. Started with after school programs, then after college began teaching more specifically within theatre education.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from Kindergarten to college students and adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our last production of Shrek, the Musical. Was a blast to produce and direct!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who connects with the goals the student is wanting to complete. I would suggest an instructor who makes the work fun.
