We offer Polynesian dance classes teaching dances from the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa.
Performance opportunities are available once students learn the dance routines and get the costumes offered.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students can attend regular weekly classes in Mira Mesa. Or schedule private lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30+ years teaching Polynesian dances and performing professional Polynesian shows in San Diego County, Orange County, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Mo'orea, Hawaii, Philippines and aboard a cruise ship.

$65/month for weekly classes
$18/class for drop-in fee
$50/hour for private lessons
How did you get started teaching?
By request from others who wanted to learn how to dance hula and Tahitian dances.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types of students are welcome... kids, teens, adults, males, females. Beginners to experienced students are welcome.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Students have opportunities to participate in annual performances at the San Diego County Fair, San Diego Ho'olaulea Hawaiian Festival, Pacific Islander Festival Association's PIFA Festistival, Balboa Park's December Nights and much more!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As in any dance discipline, regular practices and commitment will allow you to learn and become proficient in Hawaiian hula, Tahitian and other Polynesian dances.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If you are interested in trying the Hawaiian hula, Tahitian dancing and other Polynesian dances, you can attend a class and give it a try. This is a free trial class. Afterwards, if you are interested in joing, fill-out a registration form and pay the fees and you're on your way to learning.
