I teach tennis at Peck Park in San Pedro, CA. During my thirty years of teaching tennis, I have taught thousands of students to love and play tennis. Many of my students have distinguished themselves on high school teams. I am a PTR certified instructor, and I continue to develop my tennis teaching skills at the Tennis Teacher's Institute. I encourage you to join one of my classes or take some private lessons.

Jerry King is a wonderful tennis instructor. He’s incredibly patient with children of all ages and helped my son in the aspect of discipline, hand to eye coordination and character. We’ve known him for more than 20 years. He cares about kids and tennis and giving children another tool in their tool box. A wonderful man!

Jerry King began giving our daughter tennis lessons when she was eight years old. He taught her the basics, made it fun, and helped her develop her skills enough to make both her high school and college tennis teams. Thank you Jerry.

Jerry King!! Such an amazing coach and extremely, kind-hearted person. Hes the reason I made it to the collegiate level and played for the UC Irvine womens tennis team! He is incredibly patient, encouraging, and always enforces positive attitudes in his players. Teaches people of all ages and skill level. Provides individual and group lessons. Individual lessons are always relaxed and he allows you to go at your own pace. The people in the classes are always nice and supportive. The classes are just an overall fun time! He has a great, free program on Fridays, called Hot Shots, where he invites all his players to come and play against each other. Its a great way to meet others and improve your game by experiencing playing against different players. Definitely a coach that makes learning and improving your tennis game fun and enjoyable.
