The Redlands Arthur Murray Dance Studio opened October 13, 1988. While the studio was new, the managers already had experience running ballroom dance studios for 15 years. The Redlands studio started as a 2,800 sq.ft. commercial space, and has now grown to its own building, with 4,800 sq.ft. total space, a 1,700 sq.ft. dance floor and the ability to split the ballroom into two halves. St. Mary’s Ballet Folklorico of Redlands has been a part of the Inland Empire community since 1974. Our mission is to teach Mexican cultural dances and techniques, and instill confidence in the dancers by performing in public and private venues. We encourage our students to become involved in the community and to strive for excellence. In this way, we also build awareness of the Mexican culture to the public through the art of dance. We accept dancers ages 5-25, no experience required.

Dance was always there for me and I choose to see the freedom in dance. While training I paced myself so that it was always fun for me. I did not allow myself to become competitive and so it grew to be a creative passion of mine. I set the foundation then allow my students to create their own path
