Founded twenty years ago, the Academy of American Ballet is based in Redwood City, California, serving the surrounding areas. It provides artistically inspired dance instruction in a nurturing and supportive environment. Catering to a variety of ages from 2.5 to adult, they offer ballet, modern, pilates, jazz, tap, hip hop, cardio, and other forms of dance. The Academy is known for its annual Nutcracker performance at Fox Theater and a June recital, showcasing the best in all students, regardless of their dance goals.
