Shahrzad Dance Academy

I specialize in a very rare and beautiful dance style called classical Persian dance. There are a handful of instructors in the world who teach it. TI often travel all over Europe and the US to teach this dance. The style is both fluid and rhythmic, elegant and feminine while poetically passionate and expressive.

I have a Masters Degree in dance (Modern) and grew up doing Persian dance. I have spent the last two decades creating a format for teaching Persian dance, and recently published the first instructional Persian dance book. I also have DVDs and online classes, in addition to Skype consultations and private lessons. My group classes are in Berkeley, ca. on Monday mornings at 10 am.

I also have a dance company and we perform all over the US.
