Hey There! Ever wanted to learn how to record, produce and mix? I can help you there. My name is Aaron Gunther and I have been producing music in Ableton live for the past 6 years. I've produced for Pop, Hip-Hop and EDM artsts and much much more during that time. I got my start at the Berklee College of Music, studying Electronic Production and Design, and since then have produced for Jono Smithers, GoDeers! and many more. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by findout out what it is my students want to do with their craft, and then work with them on the skills and practices that can help achieve their goals musically. I devide my lessons into two basic sections, technical and theoretic. Put more simply, how to do things, and why to do things a certain way. No matter where you are starting from, this method will help to get you where you want to go!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a long background in music education stemming back to my high school days of teaching rock music at the summer camp Bandworks in Oakland, CA.
I have also studied Electronic Production and Design at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

All lessons are 40 dollars per hour
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in both music preformance to music production, ranging from 5 years old to thier 20s.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The most important thing when hiring a teacher is finding someone who can meet you where you are at in terms of skill level, passion and style. It doesnt matter how knowledgeable a teacher is, if they cannot connect with you as the student, it's time to find someone else!
