As San Diego / LA Acting Teacher and Audition - Jeffrey has created the successful "Not a Moment to Lose" (R) Approach. I have worked with hundreds of actors over the last 20 years. I am dedicated to helping actors reveal their true talent. Essential skill for acting in Film, TV, and Theatre. He is invited into Professional Theaters, University, high schools, and professional panels across the country. My clients are successful in all levels of the profession. They land jobs in film, tv, and theatre. My College and High School clients are accepted into the best programs in the US and abroad. I often make lifetime friends of the actors I coach - Beyond that - I have so much respect for dedicated actors. I take most joy in ongoing mentorship. I help actors to be seen - to be heard - to be authentically experienced. It is profound.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
BE SEEN * BE HEARD * BE EXPERIENCED
Focus is on the actor. Actors learn to walk into the audition with their humanity, power, and talent fully revealed: Connected, Specific and Authentic.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
He is currently on the faculty at the Meisner / Chekov Integrated Training Studio where he teaches Meisner, audition skills and Scene Study for working actors.
He is also the Young Performers Conservatory Director at La Jolla Playhouse. He presents workshops locally and around the country and has been hired as the primary Audition Faculty for several Universities and Conservatories over several years.
He started acting professionally at the age of twelve and still does from time to time. He worked for many years as a director in professional and academic environments with over 70 + productions to his name.
He holds an MFA from Rutgers University, where he received his actor training from master teachers - William Esper, Maggie Flanigan,(Meisner) Loyd Williamson (Movement) , and Edward Stern (Directing)

Individual Coaching $85 hourly. Discounts offered to Mr. Ingman's Conservatory and Studio actors.
Monthly Coaching $325 for students includes four 90 minute sessions = 6 flexible hours
Skype / FaceTime: $55 hourly
other fee variations depending special needs or requests.
What types of students have you worked with?
Literally - hundreds of Actors pursing film, television and theatre careers. As well child actors 12 year and up. Also College bound actors pursuing conservatory, BFA & MFA programs.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Inherent anxiety and vulnerability in the audition requires that you find someone focused on your individual needs as an actor in the audition room. Do not let people Direct you - I provide tools that you will be able to use for a lifetime. Also - make sure the energy of the coach is in line with yours that relates directly to how safe you you will feel while exploring the potential of your talent, skill, and humanity as it relates to acting and auditioning.
