Kaptan Kaster Tennis Lessons
About
Hello my name is Kaptan and I am a Miami tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 6 years of teaching experience! I am 25 years old and I am from San Diego, California.
I played college tennis for NCAA Point Loma Nazarene University in Point Loma, CA. I had a great time playing college tennis and really learned a lot from the coaches and players that were all around me.
I can honestly say I was the hardest worker in college on my tennis team and I truly believe if you are really passionate about something and put everything you have into it, you will be successful in life at whatever you do. I’ve always approached my tennis and everything else that I do in my life with that attitude and it has helped propel me forward not only in tennis, but also in every other aspect of my life.
Since graduating from college in 2014, I’ve been playing on the ATP World Tour. Although I have had some major injuries, I have also had some great successes and have moved my ranking up. I have gained a great amount of experience and knowledge over these past couple of years on tour from both players and coaches that I have met along the way. I have also learned a lot from just playing. I have improved from my time on tour and plan to continue as long as I love doing it.
I’ve traveled all over the world for tennis and it really is a universal sport. I have learned many tips & strategies that I have incorporated into my coaching. Although I do travel a lot, I love to coach when I’m in town. I love to help people improve their game in any way I can. I have a really good track record of taking junior and adult players to the next level in their game. Whether you want to win Wimbledon or win the Club Championship, I know my coaching will help raise your level of play. I take a complete look at my tennis students and target their strengths and help utilize them to their fullest potential. I also take time with each student to target their weaknesses and I work very hard on making it a consistent and effective part of their game.
I teach tennis lessons in the San Diego area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a local tennis court that is conveniently located near you.
