I am a Bilingual Spanish/English expressive arts trainee with a background in wellness programs and dance and fitness instruction. I work with children, youth, adults and older adults delivering customized sessions with the objective of enhacing your physical and mental health, and reigniting creativity.
I am a Zumba Fitness instructor with several years experience, teaching both open and private classes at studios, institutions, and private groups. I also teach beginners latin dance classes such as Salsa, Bachata, and choreos for quinceaneras or weddings.

I have a wide range of experience in the creative, fitness and mentalh health field.
I like to provide you with a safe, effective and fun experience that challenges you enough to grow and achieve your goals, and it is easy to follow.
As a Zumba isntructor, I am certified in several specialties and authorized to teach Zumba Kids (great for parties, small groups, schools), Zumba Toning, and Aqua Zumba.
I have been dancing and teaching latin dance for several years, and performed with dance groups in several countries.
I also offer dance/movement creative sessions aimed at developing body awareness and a deeper emotional connection with yourself and others. I work from a relational, client centered frame which means that my main goal is to support you in your journey through an enriching and growth oriented experience.
How did you get started teaching?
Although as a Latinamerican person, I always enjoyed dancing, I started teaching many years ago while I lived in Africa.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children of diverse cultural backgrounds in two continents at schools, summer camps, and after school programs providing arts and dance workshops; youth and adults in private and group classes in diverse organizations and settings across several countries; and with older adults with creative arts and movement.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that is caring, professional and passionate about their work.
Someone that can go beyond just delivering a lesson, and takes into account the whole of you as a human when working and supporting you towards your goals.
