Founded in 1988, Kathy Mata Ballet is a unique dance company based in San Francisco, California. They are one of the few U.S. dance companies that offer adults from non-dance professions the chance to train and perform. With an emphasis on community service, they regularly perform at senior centers and community organizations across the Bay Area. Their varied dance styles include classical ballet, contemporary, modern dance, and musical theater. Recognized for their commitment, they were awarded Best Outreach Community Service Dance Group from 2010-2013.
