I teach belly dance using my own proven technique, which is a culmination of over 45 years of experience. This is what I call the Egyptian Dance Code®, which I have registered with the Patent and Trademark Office. I also have a restaurant in which my graduates can perform. Graduates have gone on to perform at the Ethinic Dance Festival, San Francisoco city libraries, colleges, and universities as well as well known restaurants, clubs, and upscale venues. Dancers also have a chance to work with live musicians to further their studies.
I love passing on the intricacies of this dance -- the nuances and the expression along with the technique. My curriculum takes the student from basics to refind. I encourage every student and love to see them become enlightened as to the execution of movement though Egyptian expression. I also enjoy intorducing the student to Egyptian dance greats via video. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students can be beginners, intermediates, advanced, and/or professionals. I teach how Egyptians hear and keep the beat of the music using the Egyptian Dance Code® technique. Every student learns this technique beginning with the first lesson of the Primary Course.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked and currently work close with Middle Eastern musicians; including drummers, oudists, keyboard players, and a lot more. With over 45 years of knowledge and experience in dance, music, art, and culture, I am able to pass along this knowledge to any student wanting to learn to dance the cultural expression of Egypt. I also own and operate an Egyptian restaurant since 1999 with live music every Sunday night and with guest musicians performing on select Friday and Saturday nights.

Standard pricing for all standard courses -- Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Applied Principle courses are $199 for each course. Discounts are applied if paying for all four courses at one time.
