About
AFAA certified (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America), Janice is a fitness speaker, writer, & trainer focusing on exercise and nutrition. In addition she teaches both Zumba Fitness and Body Pump (a barbell program) to participants of all ages.
Janice has been dancing her whole life and has studied with many great choreographers, including Michael Peters, who directed and appeared in “Beat It” and “Thriller” with Michael Jackson, Patsy Swayze, Patrick’s mother, and the late Ed Mock, who taught her how to feel the rhythm of many types of world music beats.
Janice decided to teach group exercise in Contra Costa County to help others get and stay in shape, while having fun with the sassy beat of Latin music.
