I offer specialized violin and music theory lessons tailored to each student's unique learning style and goals. I play Classical, Celtic and Scandinavian music. I am located in Santa Cruz, CA, but can also teach online. I seek to ensure that all students, from beginner to advanced, receives the attention and expertise needed to excel in their musical journeys. My name is John Ramirez, I studied at the Julliard School of Music with a full scholarship where he received my advanced tutelage by the legendary violin teacher Dorothy Delay. I was inspired to pursue a musical career at a young age by my father, violinist Margarito Ramirez. For the past 30 years, my career as a music educator has allowed me to create, transform and influence many important music programs in San Diego County.
