East Bay Drum Lessons

My lessons focus on developing basic motor skills required to play drums, learning basic rudiments, being able to read rhythm and drum notation, and having a good time and feel. I can teach any style of music, including, but is not limited to, rock, jazz, funk, Latin, reggae, etc. I have been playing drums since I was about 10 years old. I have toured performing music across the United States and regularly perform throughout the Bay Area. I have a Bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from the California Jazz and conservatory and have played in many projects that covered nearly every style of music.

My favorite part of teaching is seeing a student accomplish their goals, whether its playing their first drum beat, learning a their favorite song, or nailing an audition.
