About
I am a multi-published author, and produced screenwriter (I co-wrote LION KING 2 among many other movies) who understands the importance of making learning fun. And let's be honest, if learning isn't interesting than you're not going to do it. (I get it, I'm a writer, I've made procrastination into an art form). I've been working with young people for over fifteen years now: online, in person and all over the country which I think gives me an insight that a lot of teachers don't have, plus I have great stories about the many many people I've worked with including quite a few celebrities. Last, but most important, I believe in my students and I will never NOT EVER give up on them.
I get to share what I love. Is there anything better? My favorite part of teaching is that "ah ha moment." You know, that moment when what you've been working on becomes crystal clear, like that proverbail lightbulb going off over the head. That's the best feeling in the world, knowing I helped someone "get it." I also get to meet all kinds of people (as a writer, people continue to fascinate me). And last, I learn too. Every. Single. Time. When I'm "teaching" I'm also learning and I love to learn. I love expanding my mind and feeling bigger.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by getting to know you. I like to where you are with "the work." Once, together, we've figured out what's going on with you then we dive in. I find the best way to learn something is to just jump in and do it. I won't spend a lot of time lecturing, unless you need it. We'll go hands on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a produced screenwriter and playwright. I've got three published non-fiction books. I've run a national theater program for the last fifteen years. I teach MANY online classes in writing and film.
