What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what their goals are: Is he/she mastering the craft or just want to learn for fun? Is there a performance he/she is working towards? Or just learning how to socially dance? Once I determine the goals, then we work towards it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters of Fine Arts from UCLA, specializing in movement. I've also studied and trained at many dance studios. I've been dancing most of my life, grew up dancing Bollywood, and studied Egyptian style of dance in Egypt. I've been a professional dancer for at least 20 years. I also have numerous celebrity clients.
