Whether your goal is to get fit, dance socially, perform on a stage, or train competitively, D’Wilfri dance studio in Santa Clarita offers the classes, and expertise to get you to your goal. Soon enough you will find yourself dancing with poise and confidence while having lots of fun!

With over 25 years of professional dance experience, our teachers and dance champions provide specialized, and personalized dance instruction. Come join our group classes in Santa Clarita for a fun and educational time of dancing, or take a private class with an instructor for one-on-one training. And please feel free to bring a partner or come alone. No partner is needed to learn the beautiful art of ballroom dancing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We highly recommend an introductory class to new students in order to determine their level of experience and their personal capability of learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are award winners dancers, certify coaches and members of NDCA, we are former International Salsa Champions 4 consecutives years, we have been dancing in Sabado Gigante International, (Univision Network), USA Network, Choreographers for Princess Cruise Rose Parade Float 2011, formers choreographers for SC Dancing With Our Stars since the inception in 2009, we have been performing in many difeferent countries as professional dancers and choreographers along with many diffierents artist like Celia Cruz, Francisco Cespedes, Gilberto "El Canario, Rey Ruiz and many others...
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our single private class is $125 per class (55minutes class)
Group classes are $25 per class per person if pay as they go!
We offer discounts when students sign up for packages over 10 lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Willy is a Member of the NDCA of Professional Dancers, and Competitors.
Born in Costa Rica, he started dancing when he was thirteen years of age; within three years he began dancing professionally in a National Costar Rican Television Program then he open his first dance studio in Costa Rica at the age of 17 along a friend of him . From 1997 to 2000 Willy was dancing professionally as well as designing all sets for the Fiesta Resort & Casino, one of the largest and most exclusive Resorts in Costa Rica, now Hilton Doubletree Resort. Willy then moved to Cancun, Mexico where for the next four years he danced for a Cuban Ballet Company performing at the Cancun and Riviera Maya Resorts dancing International style Latin Dance as well as performing in musicals such as the Lyon King, Grease, and many others. Willy & Ingrid won International Salsa Championships four consecutives years (2001 through 2004) in Cancun, Mexico. Arriving in California in November of 2004, Willy continue working as a Pro- Dance Instructor and Choreographer as well as competing, and performing for special events where he continues his talents and abilities in all forms of dance. Also Willy & Ingrid have made several appearances as Pro- Dancers for the International Television Program, Sabado Gigante, Univision Network, including a very special appearance on The 2011 Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA
Willy & Ingrid are The Choreographers for SCV Dancing With Our Stars since the Benefits Gala inception in 2009, the event has cumulatively raised more than $1,500.000.00. Recently Willy & Ingrid placed 2nd place in Theater Arts Pro Championship Competition in Chicago Crystal Ball, and Nevada Star Ball.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always look for the years of experience of the instructors and if they are well qualify to give instructions! Also check the reviews in yelp, google and facebook!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
We'll give you some of our frequently questions we receive and to help you there are the answers we give them!
Do I need a partner to come take classes?
Nope! Whether you are coming to a group class or taking a private lesson, you do not need to bring a partner. We just want you to come!
What are group classes like?
Each group class is adapted according to the learning pace, and skill level of each group. We offer many comprehensive classes for beginners to the advanced.
When participating in group classes, we will rotate the men and the women so everyone has a chance to dance with a partner. Not only does it improve your technique by learning to lead/follow with others, but we also have a whole lot of fun dancing with each other and getting to know one another.
What is a private lesson like?
Work one-on-one with a pro instructor for a more in-depth, specialized, learning experience. Learn new dances, enhance your technique, or work on choreography. Come alone and dance with one of our instructors, or bring your partner.
I’d love to learn a dance for my wedding or another special occasion! How do I go about doing that?
Contact one of our instructors today to book a private! They will personally choreograph a memorable dance for you, and your significant other. They will create the dance of your dreams, to the song of your choice.
Are there opportunities to perform?
We have multiple performance opportunities each year, including our annual spectacular dance show-case!
Where can I practice what I’m learning?
Twice a month we have a social get-together at D’Wilfri Dance Studio. Come dance the night away in an evening of dancing, appetizers, and fun! A dance lesson is also included.
