About
I have graduate degrees in Spanish, Education, and Communication, and understand that learning and teaching requires a team. Teamwork is best established one-on-one, and as a team you will benefit from my teaching experiences in Europe as well as the Americas, and I shall benefit from your unique experiences and needs. Together we shall discover the best route to achieve your goals. TEFL certified to teach English as a second language.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we get to know each other. It's my job to understand your goals, and provide the means for you to reach them. Inspiration and desire are up to both of us, yet I will add the positive attitude and energy needed to show improvement right away. Like anything else, however, the better you get, the more effort it takes to improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of study and teaching in the USA and abroad has not only resulted in three master's degrees but the ability to adapt my teaching techniques to each student's unique goals.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while studying at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. At first, I taught English as a second language, but as I progressed, teaching Spanish became my specialty.
What types of students have you worked with?
high school, college, professionals
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Your teachers must inspire you and demonstrate a desire to learn from you as much or more than your desire to learn from them.
