I have been tutoring a teaching Spanish courses for more than 13 years helping students learn the language and the culture from different Spanish speaking countries. Watching my students learn the language, and enjoying classes is one of my biggest satisfaction. I have a BA and Master's degree in Arts and letters focus in Spanish.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In order to work with a new student, I need to know what it is that the student want to accomplish, in what time, their experience with the language and people, some of their personal interests as hobbies or activities that they enjoy doing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching in the San Diego School District, San Diego State University and Community Colleges in San Diego for over 13 years, and have a Master's degree in Spanish and Chicano Chicana Studies.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was in the BA program at the university.

I have experience working with students of different backgrounds and necessities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I advice students to inform and communicate with your teacher about your needs and what is it you want to accomplish and have a plan on how to accomplish your goals. Make sure you are provide with a plan for both the student responsibilities as well as the instructor's.
