About

Originally from Orenburg, Russia, I have received intense training since the age of 4 in many popular styles of dance (including but not limited to: Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, ballroom, contemporary, and more). I have worked for many international celebrities as a backup dancer and choreographer; my favorite experience was choreographing and dancing in the Olympic Ceremony in Sochi in 2014!

Now I am dedicated to teaching adults and children alike, with one goal in mind: helping us feel joy in moving our bodies and changing our lives through dance.

Why our students love us:

-Variety of knowledge and expertise in the field.

-Continuous non-stop approach.

-Extensive education in the areas of choreography and related spheres.

    Frequently asked questions

First we will meet via phone or zoom to talk about your goals and prior experience, if any. Then we will schedule your first few lessons and determine your rate of learning, skill level, and go from there!

Most of my students love working online and find it much easier to achieve their goals from the confort of their own home.

Over 35 years of professional study from multiple dance modalities. I have attended Dance college and got my masters in Moscow, Russia, as well as continued education post-graduate in many specialties, including modern, jazz, tap, and ballroom dance from multiple companies in Los Angeles.

I work through my business Alexandra & Roman, and we charge $50 per personal session and $15 for group classes. You can plan with me any combination of groups and personal sessions as fits your needs.

I first started teaching during my professional training years. My father was a professional dancer and ran a studio in Russia where I began to teach as part of my training.

All kinds, adults and children, pros and beginners! I love working with all types of students who have a passion for learning.

Due to the current world climate, my businiess partner and I have begun teaching our students solely online. At first it was a tough time to adjust to virtual lessons, but now my students and I absollutely love it! We can join each other in a more casual, comfortable way from our homes to keep learning the art we love. It is incredible to see the drive and passion to continue their study.

I would say, make sure you and your teacher can communicate well. You always want to hire someone you not only can trust, but who makes you feel like you can tell them when something isn't working. The you can be right there together in a way that helps you reach your best potential.

There are lots of good questions, but I think the most important is this:

-What is your commitment level to the craft? (Is it a hobby, do you want to go pro, or anything in-between?)

-What is your time frame (Are you preparing for something special, or just to enjoy it?)

-What is your budget? What are you realistically willing to spend?
