David Bennett

I had originally been looking for a batting coach for our daughter (12) who had just played her first season of softball when our son (15) mentioned he was interested in playing high school baseball. Our son had never played baseball and I knew it would take some effort to get him ready and in a position to try out. We found Coach David and both our son and daughter started seeing him regularly every Sunday from May 2022 until about December 2022. Coach David has not only exceeded my expectations of a coach/trainer but my kids as well. He was always positive, explained everything to the kids and the reason for that technique or warm-up and why it was important. He also had multiple ways of explaining the same thing to the kids until they grasped what it was he was trying to get them to accomplish. Both of the kids softball and baseball skills, IQs and confidence in the game improved immensely along with their abilities. Well, all of Coach Davids dedication and hard work along with my sons work ethic paid off! Remember my son had NEVER played baseball in his life and after only 8 months in training with coach David he made his High School Baseball team!!! Thank You, Coach David! You are the best!

When we first moved to Temecula, we did not know anyone but I was referred to coach David by one of his teammates mom. My son was having trouble swinging the bat and could not hit the ball that well which got him frustrated and mad. This made me very sad to watch. I decided to go to coach David and its one of the absolute best decisions I have ever made for my son! I sent him to coach Davids baseball camp and he learned so much and had a ton of fun that we decided to start with private lessons. His hitting has gone from horrible to terrific, from being in the bottom of the batting order to the top of the batting order. Just an amazing change. His fielding was doing ok, but, coach David took it to another level with much better mechanics and understanding. Thats the thing, coach David not only teaches him great mechanics, but, gives him the why it works and he sees the results. Coach David has a gift to relate to kids on their level to get them to believe in themselves. Just amazing!

My grandson started with coach David 6 months ago and it has been such an amazing transformation since he started in every aspect of his game! WOW! I am a former top baseball player and know the game very well and coach Davids approach to teaching his students is very insightful, very effective, and easy for my grandson to understand to quickly apply. His confidence is now through the roof, his strength is so much better due to coach Davids strength training, and his respect for the game and approach to it is so much better because of coach Davids lessons. My grandson has gone from hardly getting hits in games to getting hits in almost every game. He went from a mediocre fielder to being the best fielder on his team, and he went from never pitching to being a great pitcher! I highly recommend coach David Bennett!

We wanted to express our gratitude to coach David for all he has done to help Jacob. Since he started training with you 6 months ago in March of this year, weve seen a great deal of growth. His overall skill level and confidence have dramatically increased. Jacob struggled last Spring season and his confidence was low. He had all but given up on the sport. But as a result of coach Davids teaching, his batting, fielding, and throwing have greatly improved. He is stronger physically and mentally because coach David coaches strength and mental training as well, not just mechanics . Jacob understands the fundamentals and is able to self correct, when needed, and he once again, loves baseball. He actually made the all star team at the end of the current season! We look forward to watching him grow and develop as coach David continues teaching him.

We have been so impressed with Coach David and the way he teaches our son. We have seen Ryans strength improve. He is throwing the ball harder and swinging the bat with more intensity. We have noticed an improvement in Ryans balance and overall athleticism. He seems to be taking wider stances and bending his knees more often and hitting so much better. Ryan has a better mechanical understanding as well. He knows better how to move with improved form in a fluid manner when throwing and batting. The way coach David teaches Ryan is so much different and much better than other coaches we have encountered. He gives him the understanding of how something works, not just teaches to do something, so he has the mindset to improve it on his own. We also see an improved confidence in Ryan. Coach David is the only coach that we have seen actually teach mental toughness. He teaches Ryan how to not let mistakes overwhelm him (as he did in the past). Hes able to more quickly move on and prevent mistakes from snowballing into more serious problems. Finally, we see a new understanding in Ryan of the overall majesty of baseball. He has a deeper level of respect for his gear and the game in general because Coach David has taught Ryan to respect his equipment and respect the game of baseball. We look forward to continued growth in all these areas and others. Coach David is the best coach Ryan has ever had!
