I believe social partner dance is accessable to ALL, and is a powerful tool for healing, personal growth and transformation. As a trained Dancer, Musician and Life Coach I bring all my skills into the training I offer to my students.
Although I enjoy dancing variety of dances, I specialize in teaching Argentine Tango - the most extraordinary social partner dance of all!
I am also a successful dance event organizer in Los Angeles, and host a weekly, a montly and an annual Argentine Tango events in LA.
I love seeing people come alive when they start dancing! I love knowing that I had the honor to opene a door into the magical world of social dance that brings so much fullfilment and joy and enriches everyone's life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is to ask questions about my student's individual goals and really listen to them.
Based on their ideas, desires, goals and potential concerns I devise a very individualized strategy that is a perfect match to each student.
I encourage my students to stay consistent and focused on their goals. I believe in supporting them in the best way I can to accomplish and be proud of their achieved results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing myself for almost 25 years (Salsa and Argentine Tango). Prior to becoming a dancer I was formally trained as a pianist (10-year Music Academy in Kiev, Ukraine), which helps me with teaching musicality to dancers.
I also have a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology (University of Santa Monica), which I utilize in my Life Coaching practice.
When I teach dance I bring ALL my skills and experience to the table!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My usual pricing is $95 for a 75-minute private lesson. A 5% discount is offered wich a block of 5 lessons, a 10% discount is offered with a block of 10 lessons. A package of 10 also includes a 6-week group class ($75 value).
My group lessons are usually offered at a 6-week blocks and are priced at $75.
How did you get started teaching?
I loved assisting my tango teacher at 3rd Street Dance studio, and did it for a few years before I was asked to teach my own class.
I have taught since countless classes in various venues and schools, including Music Center, Agape Internationa, Terranea, and many others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with thousands of students of all ages, shapes and abilities. I love working with anyone and everyone who is enthusiastic and open to learning.
My experience includes working with elderly, amputees, Parkinson's patients. I also love working with gay singles and couples.
I do extensive work with wedding couples as well, creating a beautiful choreography for their First Dance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was honored to teach Argentine Tango at a Disability Festival at the UC Riverside. That was an incredible experience!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Learn about the teacher you are about to hire, ask them what the specialize in. Take time to actually read their bio or ask for a reccomendation. Look them up on Yelp and read the reviews!
Not everyone who can dance can teach!!!
