NuTrailBlazers School Of The Arts
About
Hi, I'm Ms. Nicole. I've been dancing for 20 years and I'm willing to travel to teach you! I offer training in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, piano and guitar. I've had my company for almost 5 years and it's very important that all my students ranging from age 4-adult receive the best training in technique as possible.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always assess them upon our first encounter in class or private lessons. I go through basic positions to test their abilities. After an assessment, I have a better understanding of their skill and where to go with their training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken ballet and various styles since the age of 5. My passion for the art and technique involved in ballet developed during high school and spilled over into college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
single classes are $20 and one class a week is $60 per month. Two classes a week are $80 per month. I offer scholarships for talented students that come from lower socio-economic families.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a preschool, then at an elementary school
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with diverse students of color, size and skill.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My holiday showcase was in December and my students performed a ballet piece to a classic beauty and the beast song, a song from the princess and the frog, and Moana!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
tey them out before paying for a full month of classes. Ensure their personality fits you/your child's. Observe them with other students and actually see them execute steps to see where their skill level is.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How long have they taught and taken classes in whatever area you/your child is interested in learning about. Ask them why they became a teacher in that particular area and what their vision is for their company.
