I have been a professional ballroom and Latin dancer and instructor for 22 years. I offer high quality dance instruction for all levels. I specialize in choreography and technique, but I can also teach a fun class! I have taught all kinds of students fromserious dancers, wedding couples, CEOs to children... from dance reality shows, corporate parties, birthday and holiday parties to the competitive ballroom and salsa scene.
Teaching dance has opened so many doors for me for self growth, travel and learning the art of communication. I love sharing my eperiences and knowledge with my students and sharing that information. Seeing how sharing my experiences have transormed my student's bodies and minds has been so rewarding and it is what has kept my passion for dance and teaching alive for so long!

With new students I start by taking them through a series of fundemental movements, patterns and exercises to help them understand the systems in place for leading, following and proper form and posture in order to prevent injury and keep the learning process enjoyable and easy.
Being a good instructor not only means having the tools and education in order to teach, but to keep seeking information and learning. I have been studying dance for the past 24 years and aside from my prior triaining in ballroom, latin, ballet, tap and jazz I still devote myself to being trained and practicing by some of the best ballroom coaches in the world.
I have worked and continue to work with students of all levels from beginners that have never danced before to helping my coaches and fellow competitors with choreography at a high level. I have also assisted with choreography on 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Dancing With The Stars' and have done choreography and performances with whe world salsa team as well as other dance troupes. I currently compete with some of my students in various levels of the Pro-Am competitions and train different ages and levels for competition.
