Hello! In my twenty plus years teaching, I have developed a method that's comprehensive while also being highly tailored to each student's needs. I teach piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, theory, as well as songwriting and composition. I love watching and being part of a student's growth as a musician, and have often used my 30 plus years experience as professional musician to help students who are looking at music as a profession. I believe with the right amount of dedication and inspiration, a student can definitely reach their musical goals.

We are unique in that we not only teach you how to play, but WHY you should play that way. We also emphasize playing complete songs and the drills and theory (while included and important) are kept in the background. The result is having fun while learning and not finding practice to be a chore, but a fun part of your day. I've been a teacher (academics not music) for over 40 years. The biggest thrill is watching the "light bulb" go off over a students head when they really GET IT. Doesn't matterwhether it's a STEM subject or literature or music, it's always a stellar moment and one I continually strive for....

Tustin Music Center has been serving our local community since 1991 providing a broad range of music lessons from beginner to advanced students. We are located in Tustin Plaza across the street from City Hall in the heart of Orange County. All of our instructors have either their degrees in music education or performance, OR they have many years of performing and instruction experience.
