Acting Coaching With Lauren Noll
About
Lauren received her Master's degree in acting from Harvard University at American Repertory Theatre, where she performed in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association and also has a BFA in Acting from Brigham Young University. While she is pursuing her own acting career and always continuing to learn and improve her own craft, she has found a passion for sharing her tools, acquired from dozens upon dozens of teachers and directors from across the globe in her own extensive training, with young actors who are embarking upon their own artistic journeys. She loves working privately or semi-privately with young actors so that her students receive uniquely individual focus because her primary goal is to help them bring themselves to their work, believing that each actor is his/her own best resource. She is passionate about helping young actors create audition packages that shine to gain acceptance into BFA and MFA acting programs, as well as to land early dream roles. She guides actors with a variety of techniques, catered to what works best for each student, to help the student create a "roadmap" for each piece that will reliably allow them to tell the story according to the writer's intentions while bringing forth their own unique human idiosyncrasies that bring the character to life in the way that only that actor can. The actor will find a safe space to work in, in which they will develop a safety net of craft and technique which will support their freedom to take in-the-moment risks which keep the work alive and truthful.
