Stephanie Lesh-Farrell has been acting on stage and in TV and film for most of her life. A dramalouge award winning actress, director and kids/teens acting coach, she most recently has performed as Mother Superior in Sister Act, Rosie in Mamma Mia and currently playing Miss Hannigan in Annie. In addition to her theatre credits she has also been seen on Greys Anatomy, Scandal, Lucifer, The Office and Curb Your Enthusiam.
A professional acting coach with over 20 years experience working with children and teens in the industry, she brings her love of theatre to her students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet a new student, I want to find out what experience they have so we have a base line to start from.
If we are working on an ongoing basis we will come up with a plan on where tp start and where we want to go.
If we are coaching for auditions we will go over sides and discuss what is needed for each audition specifically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied Theatre for Young Audiences at California State University Northridge.
Coached on set for several tv/film projects
have taught oncamera and scene study class for all ages for the past 20 years.
I have studied and worked in the entertainment industry for the past 25 years.

Pricing starts at $95.00 for a 50 minute coaching session.
Multiple sessions paid in advance are given a discounted rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching improvisation classes for kids very early on and it took off from there.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Truthfully, make sure you find a coach that works with you not at you.
No one actor is a like , its important for any actor to have a coach that understands and helps with their individual needs.
