I like the personal, intentional and individualized style of training that I’ve received even in the group/class setting. No student’s experience is the same, but I can attest to observing that all students are engaged and receive personalized attention and training. Not many coaches/teachers have mastered that, but it’s being being done here.
During my training here, I’ve met and had the opportunity to learn from a few industry giants, movers and shakers - some of who have included myself and others in their projects.
BobbyGene’s Actor’sClubhouse has played a major role in helping me to acquire representation and become a working actor.

Bobby Genes Actors clubhouse is an awesome acting class. The teacher is amazing and has a great environment. I got my first agent here and was able to book a tv series with the help of coach Bobby Gene. Ive been filming commercials ever since and couldnt be more grateful for the clubhouse.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What is their interest in acting and what goals they are looking to achieve? Who we are and what we offer and have done for so many over the years in the entertainment industry. Explain to them what it's going to take to work toward achieving one's dreams and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Actorsclubhouse has been in business for over 24 years and counting. The formula and methodology in how/what we teach have trained actors from the ages of 4 to 45 years plus to work/book principal paid television, commercial and film roles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
There is no standard pricing system however the Actorsclubhouse does allow anyone that may have an interest a free class audit.
How did you get started teaching?
Around the age of 19 years old, I got my first TV agent at an acting school who one day offered me a job as an assistant at their school.
With that, there were times I was asked if I would coach someone's kid for an acting role, more and more this occurred and the actors began booking work in a film or television show after coaching them. One thing led to another and the rest is history. I had realized how much I had loved teaching kids and teens in the entertainment industry and found it was a passion that brought JOY to me.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, actors already signed with Industry agents that were referred to our acting school and also Adults over the age of 50plus that always wanted a chance to do this, but never did.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
When one of our actors came into class and told us that he booked his first commercial and that he'd be shooting the entire weekend on set for two days.
Mind you, that's after putting in over a year and a half or two of showing up, training, and learning his instrument.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
See if the school/acting teacher will allow for you to audit a free class...such as we do! One should be able to try on the shoe (so to speak) and see how it feels on your foot.
Know what's expected of you because there is NO GUARANTEE'S in this business. But with hard work, determination and even a good support team...much can be accomplished.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Actually, in today's world now one can look up/google just about anything these days. So look them up, what have folks said about this potential school or teacher? Again see if you can sit in on a free class and even participate as we offer, you want to get a feel of what you are looking to possibly invest in for some years. Remember for many folks, we are talking about one's dreams and goals here, so a strong foundation and support team is everything at the start.
