Curtis Bechdholt is one of LA’s top audition coaches. Curtis starting acting professionally in 1993 and quickly earned Vancouvers top young actor award in 1994
In the last 4 years Curtis has transitioned into a full time coach He has helped shape the auditions of over 300 different actors in that time.
Curtis has a unique ability to adapt his coaching style to get the best out of each of his actors and now he is bringing all the knowledge to a Scene Study and an On-camera audition technique class.

Nothing gives me more joy, then when an actor calls me, voice full of excitement, to tell me they landed the role. I've gotten that call when a client has landed there very first tv role and when they've landed a series regular. I get goose bumps thinking about it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically look at my job as either adding layers or taking them away. Of course I make sure that the Actor has the right tone for the piece and has a full understanding of the material. After that I have a number of tools for connection and emotional work if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained with a number of different acting coaches from a number of different disiplines. I've tried my best to store it all so that I can work and create an individual plan with each actor that I work with.
Professionally, I booked over 30 Guest star roles in 7 years. I was also blessed to be a regular reader for numerous casting directors in Vancouver. Being in the room has proven invaluable!
